By registering for Cactusforce you are agreeing to our terms, policies, conditions, and code of conduct.

Health & Safety

Your health and safety is important to us. Precautions are being implemented to reduce COVID-19 exposure risk.

We are committed to providing a conference environment free from harassment for everyone; regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment or threats to community members in any form. Violence, sexual language, and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter, and other online media. Firearms and weapons are strictly prohibited. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

We hold a strong commitment to creating and maintaining a positive environment of mutual respect and integrity.

COVID-19 protocols and measures

The state of Arizona is not under any COVID restrictions. However, we have elected to implement health precautions to limit exposure risk.

Attendees at our in-person Cactusforce experience are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19 with one of the vaccines that are authorized or have received emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO). COVID-19 Booster is highly encouraged!

Before coming to Cactusforce attendees are encouraged to:

  • Test for COVID-19

  • Get your COVID-19 booster shot

  • Get your flu shot

Measures we have taken to lower exposure risk:

  • Vaccinations are encouraged

  • Masks are optional, but will be available

  • A larger venue with open patio access for outside airflow. Phoenix weather forecast is sunny and low 70s F.

  • Porters will regularly disinfect surfaces and wipe down high-touch surfaces

  • Expo area has direct open patio access

  • Event staff (e.g., Catering) will follow health and safety precautions

  • Hand sanitization stations will be placed throughout

Cancelations, Refunds, and Changes

Cactusforce is an annual event held every January. Organizers are subject to local, state, and federal laws and as such reserve the right to add or change these policies in order to maintain a safe environment.

Refunds are available up to 3 days before the event starts. Transaction, processing, and processing fees are nonrefundable. The registration price includes all credit card and processing fees.

Can’t make it? Please consider transferring your ticket to another attendee, next year’s event, or indicating you’d like the proceeds from your unused registration to our benefiting organization(s).

If Cactusforce must be changed due to Covid or other reasons beyond our control, our fallback is to continue with a fully virtual event. Organizers are volunteers and fellow Trailblazer community members who work diligently to minimize risks to the event.

You may contact organizers for questions or requests.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We all share in ensuring a safe environment.

trust has to be the highest value
— Marc Benioff

Cactusforce is a Salesforce Trailblazer Community-led conference dedicated to providing a safe, harassment-free environment where everyone can share, learn, and succeed together. Our conference is organized in accordance with the Trailblazer Community Program Terms. Community Group Leaders and organizers follow the Salesforce company Code of Conduct and the Salesforce Event Code of Conduct.

Attendees are expected to be considerate and respectful.

Suitcasing and outboarding are prohibited. Companies who attend instead of sponsoring then proceed to hand out materials other than business cards or simple contact information – vying for sponsor presence without actually paying to be a sponsor steal from the event and diminish the value of official sponsors by engaging in this deceitful practice. A company that should or could have sponsored the event instead hosts their own competing event, without the consent of event or community organizers organizer take away from the official event and the official sponsors associated with it by competing with the event, therefore, deceiving attendees into thinking that they are supporting the official event.

We expect participants to follow these rules at conferences, workshop venues, conference-related social events, and all community events.

We are here to share, learn, and succeed together. Organizers, volunteer staff, community members, and sponsors hold the expectation to be respectful, inclusive, and kind. Cactusforce holds the Salesforce Values of building trusted relationships with integrity, transparency, alignment, and accountability with the community we serve.

Zero tolerance

Violations of this code will not be tolerated. Organizers reserve the right to refuse participation and expel from the conference, or any conference-related activity without a refund at our discretion.

The organizers will contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance and participation in our community.

If you see something, say something. We do our best to be aware of happenings during the conference and will do our utmost to address inappropriate behavior. Organizers will be wearing standout colors on their lanyards or Cactusforce t-shirts and will have “Organizer” on their name tags.

Upholding this code is foundational to our thriving community.
