While a common misconception is that an architect needs to ‘know everything’, be the best developer and be an expert on all things Salesforce, it is often better to have an architect being a jack of all trades consulting experts when necessary. Architects are not islands, but rather work in close collaboration with experts to deliver projects successfully. The key to their success is in keeping a comprehensive overview of the solution, technology and landscape, balancing superficial and in-depth knowledge and thus identifying when to bring in the cavalry.
This session intends to separate the disciplines which an architect needs to have superficial knowledge of from those where a deeper level of knowledge is required supported by real-life examples.
