The Nonprofit Success Pack offers a suite of Trailhead modules that depend upon the user working in a highly customized environment, including NPSP's six managed packages, configuration of Custom Settings, the load of a complex data set, creation of multiple users, and more.
We made these modules possible by building a sophisticated web-based installer with more than two dozen automated steps - taking the user from a stock Trailhead Playground to a fully-configured nonprofit org that looks and feels real. David will show how Salesforce.org's free and open source MetaDeploy automation platform is applied to a real-world use case, demonstrate the tools used to achieve NPSP's configuration successes, and explain the framework of the "Product Delivery Model", a strategy for delivering complex products and configurations to end users seamlessly.
